Moving to a new place requires tons of paper works such as medical card, vehicle registration, care insurance, exchange driver license, photo ID card and many more! Most of the works can be done at Service Ontario offices. But, the pandemic affect the office hours and we have to make online appointment for some offices.
Most of the paper works need to provide proof of address, so we have decided to open a new bank account to get that! But, we were told they need mailed-in documents from bank in order to be a valid document to prove our address. Again, we have to wait.
While we were waiting, we were able to exchange the driver license and photo ID. We went to several Service Ontario offices and I must said the office at Carling Ave is super great! The people there are super friendly, kind and happy to serve you. They are very patient too! If you are new immigrant to Ottawa, I recommend you to go to this branch~

The poor little one has to spend long time on car, also waited together with us at bank , drive test center and Service Ontario offices. We hope most of the paper works could be done in February.
